Registration provides you entry to all sessions in Sidney J. Lee Auditorium on Friday and Saturday, including the Peter Bergen event, as well as light breakfast and box lunch on Friday and Saturday. Your attendance at the commemoration on Sunday is welcomed.
Symposium registration is $50.
Peter Bergen, CNN producer and author, will speak at 7:30pm, Friday, September 9, in the Sidney J. Lee Auditorium on the BSC campus. Bergen, one of the few journalists to interview Osama bin Laden, will be sharing his insights about the enduring conflict between America and Al-Qaeda. (Symposium registration includes this event.) This special event only ticket is $10.
Students with valid id will be admitted to the daytime symposium sessions free of charge. Registration is not needed.
A Speakers’ Reception will be held at 6pm, Friday, September 9, in the National Energy Center of Excellence. Continue the dialogue with the speakers and other attendees. Reception tickets are $25.
Attend the Bismarck Mandan Symphony Orchestra’s performance, A Place of Remembrance, at 7:30pm, Saturday, September 10, at the Belle Mehus Auditorium. The BMSO will be offering a tribute to the 10thAnniversary of 9/11, featuring Mozart’s Requiem and works composed in response to the events of 9/11. Tickets are $29.00.
