Mr. Christopher E. Bailey serves on the permanent faculty at the National Intelligence University (NIU), Defense Intelligence Agency. Mr. Bailey, an attorney and experienced intelligence officer, teaches graduate courses in National Security Law, Intelligence Ethics, National Security Process, and Strategy. Mr. Bailey is a retired U.S. Army officer with 30 years of service, including more than ten years of military intelligence experience, as well as deployments to Iraq and to Uganda.
After earning a J.D. from McGeorge School of Law, Mr. Bailey practiced in California for more than a decade. Mr. Bailey maintains his law license and is a member of the American Bar Association, National Security Law Division. Furthermore, Mr. Bailey has earned a Master of Science in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College and a Master of Arts in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College. He regularly writes for military and intelligence publications.
