Below is the first glimpse of our documentary, the 100 Stories Project: Perspectives from the Heartland. Although not finished, the project is well underway and we are excited about what has been created so far and what is yet to come!
If you like what you see, please keep in mind that we are still looking for stories to complete this project. The details from that that that still stand out to you and the things that you will take with you for the rest of your life are all things we want to preserve. If you are interested in being part of the project, please contact us at 701-224-5731 or alison.zarr@bismarckstate.edu! Additional information is also available here.

On September 11, I turned on the local radio station for the morning weather. It said,”The Dickinson Airport is closed for a national emergency.” That was all they said,so I turned on NBC television. The “Today Show” was on. Katie Couric said,”This just in.There has been an accident. An airplane has crashed into the World Trade Building.” Then they cut away to the World Trade Towers. Then we saw the second airliner hit the second tower, the first tower fall, and the second tower fall on live television. My aunt said,”I went to the top of that building with my grandson.” Mr.Irvin John Weeks,Dickinson,North Dakota
